Our commitment to transparency

GenZe Rank processes data to deliver audits, rankings insights, and editorial resources. We do not sell your personal information in the ordinary sense of exchanging contact lists for cash. Where we use advertising or analytics partners, we describe those relationships below and link to our Cookie Policy for control options.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact details (name, email, company) when you register, subscribe, or contact us
• URLs, sitemaps, or project settings you submit for SEO, AEO, or GEO audits
• Messages sent through support chat, contact forms, or email
• Reviews, ratings, or other voluntary contributions on directory or device pages
• Billing details when you purchase a paid plan (processed by our payment provider—we do not store full card numbers on our servers)

Information collected automatically

• IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, and language preferences
• Pages viewed, referral URLs, session duration, and approximate location derived from IP
• Audit crawl logs, HTTP status codes, and technical metadata from pages you authorize us to scan
• Security logs (failed logins, abuse signals, rate-limit events)

Account information

When you create an account, we store credentials (hashed passwords), email verification status, role flags (such as administrator access), and preferences tied to your workspace. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. Usage data

Usage data helps us understand feature adoption, diagnose errors, and improve audit quality. We may aggregate usage statistics so they no longer identify you personally. Examples include: number of audits run per month, average crawl depth, and which report sections users export most often.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Analytics services

We may use privacy-conscious analytics to measure traffic and product performance (for example, page views, conversion funnels, and Core Web Vitals on our own site). Analytics vendors may set cookies or collect pseudonymous identifiers. We configure analytics to avoid collecting unnecessary sensitive data and to honor browser “Do Not Track” signals where our vendors support such signals.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers for hosting, email delivery, payment processing, customer support, AI model APIs (for optional analysis features), and advertising (such as Google AdSense). These providers process data under contractual terms that require appropriate security and limit use to providing services to us. Third-party sites linked from GenZe Rank (tool vendor sites, news sources, or documentation) have their own privacy policies—we encourage you to read them before submitting personal data.

Payment information

We receive limited billing metadata (last four digits, expiration month/year, billing country, transaction IDs) to manage invoices, refunds, and fraud prevention. We do not store complete payment card numbers on GenZe Rank servers.

AI analysis data handling

GenZe Rank helps you measure visibility across AI search and answer engines (including ecosystems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and traditional search with AI features). When you use AI-assisted audit or content features:

• We may send excerpts of your submitted URLs, page text, or structured audit findings to third-party AI API providers solely to generate analysis, summaries, or recommendations you request.
• We configure integrations to minimize sensitive data transfer and to avoid using your private crawl data to train public models where the provider offers contractual “no training” or enterprise API terms.
• AI outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate—you should verify recommendations before publishing or making business decisions (see our Disclaimer).
• You may delete audit projects associated with your account subject to retention limits described below.

User-uploaded content

If you upload files, paste content, or submit reviews, we store that material to provide the feature you selected (for example, moderation of community reviews or saving draft audit notes). Do not upload confidential information you are not authorized to share. You represent that you have rights to any content you submit.

Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law. Typical retention periods:

• Account data: for the life of the account plus up to [24] months after closure for backup and legal compliance
• Audit crawl data: [90] days by default for free tiers; longer for paid plans as described in your plan terms—configurable where the product allows
• Support tickets: up to [36] months
• Marketing logs: per cookie durations in our Cookie Policy

Data security measures

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we process, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls for production systems, hashed passwords, and monitoring for suspicious activity. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

GDPR rights (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing (including direct marketing). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. CCPA/CPRA rights (California)

California residents may request to know, delete, or correct personal information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” as defined under California law. GenZe Rank does not sell personal information for money. Some analytics or advertising cookies may constitute “sharing” under CPRA—we honor opt-out preference signals where legally required. International users

We may process and store information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. When we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms where required.

Children’s privacy

GenZe Rank is not directed to children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@GenZe Rank.com and we will delete it promptly.
