Apple introduced a touchscreen MacBook Pro featuring a PROLED XDR tandem OLED panel with up to 2,000 nits peak brightness, extreme contrast, 120Hz refresh, and broad color coverage.
Touch is built into the panel itself, and a Dynamic Island-style area becomes a home for Spotlight, Live Activities and Siri AI. The lineup uses M5 Pro and M5 Max chips with up to 128GB of unified memory and 16TB of storage.
The 14-inch model starts at $2,899 with M5 Pro. For creators and developers, the bigger story is whether touch finally changes Mac workflows without breaking desktop precision habits.
